Bhopal, 27th Feb 2023: AIC-RNTU Foundation (Incubation centre supported by Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog) invites applications for Discover Cohort 2023. The program is 13-Week Capacity Building and Incubation Program on a hybrid model, designed to mentor, and handhold startups to enter the market with full thrust and potential along with aid in raising Pre-seed/Seed Funding.
Starting with 3- Days of Physical Bootcamp and 8 weeks of Virtual Sessions/Workshops developing the conceptual knowledge and strategies; it will be followed by 3 Weeks of One-on-one mentoring sessions with sector-specific mentors. Then, a week will be dedicated to strengthening the financial terminologies along with creating the financial model (Term sheet, SHA, Investment deal structure etc..) of the startups aiming to make them investment-ready. The cohort will be concluded by a Demo Day in front of a mixed pool of investors, including Seed Investors, Angel Investors, and VCs from different sectors and across the country.
Previously, AIC-RNTU Foundation has successfully run Discover Cohort 2022. Out of 197 applications across India, 14 were shortlisted to participate in the cohort. The participants attended all the sessions, Bootcamp & Demo Day with all zeal. Out of 14 participants, 7 startups raised funds via govt schemes, Angel Investors and VC funds.
The cohort was concluded with Demo Day where a pool of potential investors across India were present. Many big names like- Venture Catalyst, Beehive Capital, Unitus Capital, Unicorn India Ventures, Ah Ventures, Headstart Investor Circle, Blume Ventures, SilverNeedle, We Founder Circle, Hyderabad Angels, Indian Angel Network along with Angel Investors and HNIs.
With the success of Discover Cohort 2022, AIC-RNTU Foundation has now started the registrations for Discover Cohort 2023. Selected Startups will get the following benefits:
