For the second time the price of the subsidized cooking gas is increased this month. The earlier one was increased by Rs.2.94 per cylinder on November 1.

As per the notification on the prices hike, the ministry has raised LPG distributors commission to Rs.50.58 from Rs.48.89 per 14.2 kg cylinder, while the commission on 5 kg cylinder is increased to Rs.25.29 from Rs. 24.20.

The price however could differ from state to state depending on the taxes and transportation cost.
