‘Shasan Se Sushasan Ki Ore’, book launched by Vice President of India

The Vice President, Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu released the book ‘Shasan Se Sushasan Ki Ore’, authored by Shri Gaurav Kumar, at The Vice President’s House, New Delhi on July 09, 2019. The Vice Chairperson of National Commission for Schedule tribes Miss Anusiya Uikey, Shri Ajay Anand, Smt. Priya Srivastava, Smt. Priyanka Kumari, Shri Keshav Kumar, Shri Ashish Kumar Anshu, Shri Alok Dwivedi and other dignitaries are also seen.

The book discusses about different dimensions of good governance with a futuristic view. It is based on experiences gained by Shri Gaurav Kumar while serving central and state governments.

On the occasion Venkaiah Naidu said, “I am Delighted to have received the book ‘Shasan se Sushasan ki ore’ authored by Shri.Gaurav Kumar.The book covers all aspects of good governance & elaborates on good governance practices implemented in India over last 5 decades. Mr Gaurav Kumar is from village Mauze, Ramgarhwa, East champaran, Bihar. He has completed his graduation and Master in Sociology from Banaras Hindu University. He worked as LAMP FELLOW in PRS legislative research as well as he also worked with Chief Minister of Haryana as a Good Governance Associate. The BJP government in Haryana in association with Ashoka University and Boston Consulting gave him the responsibility to work with people at grass root level for minimum government and maximum governance.

Presently he is working with National Commission for Scheduled Tribes as Private Secretary.

Hailing from a rural background he got the opportunity to work with RBI on financial inclusion & financial literacy, which has given him the required insights to understand the governance with the perspective of the financial inclusion and financial literacy. Efforts of the Modi government to bring about Good governance at the grass root level has been successful with the help of schemes like digital india and Jan Dhan Account.

About The Book- The book covers all aspects of Good Governance, purely in Indian Context. The book gives many perspectives of Good Governance in the country. The book gives true reflections and impacts of the efforts of Modi government’s efforts for maximum governance but minimum government. It elaborates good governance practices in India in the last five years.

In this Book, Mr Gaurav Kumar has also included all efforts, policy, Schemes and practices of the Government in achieving Good Governance i.e. maximum governance. He has also talked about political inactions, new political environment, conducive environment for legislations in the wider range of public interests. There is greater political awareness among the people and governance has reached at the bottom of the pyramid.
