Gurgaon: Gurgaon-based Starex University participated in an education fair held in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. Titled ‘AFAIRS’, the event featured prominent Universities and Colleges ranging from Medical, Dental, Engineering Colleges, B-Schools, and Management Colleges, Professional and Vocational Institutions and the like. The event witnessed the gathering of over 10,000 students. The two-day fair offered a plethora of career options for students.
Some of the prominent universities who participated in the event were Amity University, Manav Rachna University, Mody University, Sharda University, Ansal University, problem solvingBennett University, Maharishi Markandeshwar University. Among international universities, Stanford University was present.

The University currently offers plethora of courses across six prominent departments namely School of Humanities, School of Commerce and Management, School of Hotel Management, School of Life Sciences, School of Computer Science and School of Applied Science.
Spread over an area of 100 acres, the university boasts of state- of the –art infrastructure such as spacious classrooms, well-equipped engineering, medical, pharmacy, environment, Computer Science, physics, chemistry, biology and multimedia rooms, a well-stocked library, centrally air-conditioned separate hostels for boys and girls and robust sports infrastructure such as basketball, Lawn Tennis courts, Table Tennis courts and athletics track.
Established under the provisions of Haryana Private Universities (Amendment) Act 2016, the University is located on Jaipur NH-8, Gurugram.
