IIHMR University Inaugurates 5-Day Online Faculty Development Programme sponsored by ATAL Academy on Digital Marketing

Jaipur: IIHMR University Jaipur is a pioneering postgraduate research university in India, inaugurates a 5- Day Online Faculty Development Program on 26th July 2021 on Digital Marketing. This online faculty development program will run for five days till 30th July. In this program 200 faculty members from Management, Engineering, Arts Science, and all other streams are participating from 25 states of India from Jammu, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Kearla, Gujrat etc. This online digital FDP was inaugurated by President- IIHMR University.

Dr. PR Sodani, President, IIHMR University, said, “as nation is undergoing COVID-19 pandemic crisis, we set out to discover how companies across the world adapted and planned for their digital marketing strategies. We are happy to receive this opportunity from AICTE to host the Faculty Development Program on Digital Marketing sponsored by ATAL Academy. We look forward to support government’s endeavour and constantly provide new knowledge. The program will cover dynamic and latest trends in digital marketing, by allowing structuring and controlling access to professional development and enhance digital marketing skills of faculty members.

FDP coordinator & Associate Professor Dr. Sheenu Jain introduced the theme of the program to the participants. The FDP will have a total of 14 technical sessions including a session on “Fit India Programme Meditation and Wellness” which is aligned with the mission of “The Art of Living”. Dr. Sheenu Jain mentioned that FDP resource pool comprises of industry experts who are practising digital marketing in real time. She said, we will not be just sharing theoretical knowledge with the participants, rather all our sessions will be based on hands on learning.

Ms Palak Verma, Marketing Manager from Phychowellness center, Mr Pawas Jain, CEO of TBC Group, Mr Sharad Saxena, Senior Consultant from EY, Mr Vikas Rajput, CEO of Parallel Living, Mr Sharad Saxena, Wellness Coach and Facilitator, The Art of Living are set to enrich the participants from various glorious institutes like IILM College of engineering and technology, Fore School of Management, JJ College of Engineering and Technology, St John College of Engineering and Management, etc. with their in-depth knowledge of the domain while extensively covering the broad spectrum of digital marketing skills and development activities in the domain of the Digital Marketing. Sessions like Demystifying Linkedin and Twitter Marketing, Online Consumer Behaviour and Reputation Building, SEM/ Use of Hootsuite/ Buffer tools are conducted for spiritual intelligence and stress management to achieve goals of Higher Education such as access, equality, efficiency and quality which is expected to be helpful in difficult times.

The program is conducted online by the Centre for Incubation, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship (CIIE) at IIHMR University, Jaipur, sponsored by AICTE Training & Learning (ATAL) Academy.

Dr. Shiv Tripathi, Professor & Dean-Training said, “There is a drastic change in the marketing affairs post COVID and it is the need of the hour to run programs on Digital Marketing. It is observed that more than half of the companies have increased their investment in digital and technology innovation because of the pandemic. With this support from AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Academy we try to develop new programmes and policies for enhancing innovation in different sectors, bridge sectorial gaps, provide platforms and collaborate opportunities for different stakeholders, and create an umbrella structure to oversee the innovation & entrepreneurship ecosystem of the country by allowing to use new age digital tools such as SEO, digital analytics, SEM, AI and business strategies for popular social media handles.

Dr Sheenu Jain said, we are overwhelmed by such amazing response from the faculty members from all over India for the program. We are also offering another series of program on basics of Digital Marketing in Healthcare in August and Advanced Digital Marketing Analytics in September and opened the registration for these programs.
