Himani Shivpuri and Tanvi Dogra

Every year, November 1st celebrated as ‘Chhattisgarh Rajyotsava’, the state’s formation and foundation day. On this special occasion, &TV Artists, Himani Shivpuri, Katori Amma from Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, and Tanvi Dogra, Swati from Santoshi Maa Sunaye Vrat Kathayein applaud and send best wishes to everyone in Chhattisgarh. Himani Shivpuri (Katori Amma) says, “Chhattisgarh, located at the very heart of India vibrates with its progressive spirit, unique culture and heritage, ancient temples and historical excavations, distinct flavour of ancient forest-based culture and its local food.

The state is a complete delight and full of surprises and experiences. Apart from the advent developments, the state has preserved its local arts and crafts so beautifully. The Dhokra art is astonishing, and their sparkling fairs and festivals are to look out for! It is amazing to see how being one of the youngest states, Chhattisgarh has accomplished so much. I have a few lamps, showpieces, and a Ganpati idol which I bought on my last visit to the state which holds a very special place in my heart.

On Chhattisgarh Rajyotsava, my best wishes and compliments to the people of Chattishgarh.” Adding to this, Tanvi Dogra (Swati) comments, “Chhattisgarh boasts of a rich cultural heritage amidst crusty cuisine, lively dances, music and the lively people with their amiable languages. The state has preserved its archaeological sites and heritage, which is amazing. Bastar is one of the places to visit for its impeccable beauty, indigenous wildlife and their zealous Dussehra festivities. Naya Raipur, a first smart city, is remarkable and a hub of trade and hospitality. Hearty congratulations to everyone on Chhattisgarh Rajyotsav and wish it continues to touch new heights of development!”
