Taking ahead Gurgaon Traffic Police’s initiative to facilitate a pre-paid system for public transportation; real estate giant M3M India extended its support and installed various Traffic Police and Pre Paid Auto booths across Gurgaon. These booths have been installed at various key locations like Huda City Centre, Galleria, Supermart 1, DLF Phase IV, Iffco Chowk, Ambience Mall, Ghitorni, Cyber park, Sikandarpur, MG road and Badshahpur. These have been built as part of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity undertaken by M3M for making the millennium city as Smart city.
M3M had earlier installed 10 booths and another one has been recently installed. These aesthetically designed modular booths are convenient and comfortable for all the officers managing them. These booths are revamped on regular basis by M3M India to maintain their upkeep.
Pankaj Bansal, Director, M3M India said, “M3M believes in contributing to our society and the installation of these booths has been done to support the infrastructural development of Gurgaon thus making it a Smarter city to be in.”
Gurgaon Traffic Police Officers have expressed their happiness on this initiative and said that more corporate should come together for the welfare of the society. It is great that such a step has been taken by a corporate.
M3M has always been active in taking and supporting such initiatives for public convenience. It had directed its employees to opt for carpooling and encouraged the use of public transport to support Delhi government’s initiative of Odd Even Formula. Their HR department took initiatives to motivate employees and ensured a daily internal communication to help them connect with each other.
