Prime Minister Narendra Modi today urged officials to expedite addressing grievances, while reviewing the progress of various schemes at the 12th interaction through PRAGATI – the ICT-based, multi-modal platform for Pro-Active Governance and Timely Implementation.
Discussing with the officials, Modi sought to know the reasons for the delay of implementation of projects and also reviews the progress of Aadhar-linkage to disbursal of scholarship to students.
Prime Minister Modi reviewed the progress of various projects undergoing in the states of Tripura, Mizoram, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Odisha, Telangana, Chhattisgarh, and Maharashtra. He also reviewed the railway projects included Akhaura-Agartala rail line, which will be a vital link between India and Bangladesh.
Modi also reviewed the progress of modernization and expansion works for the Bhilai Steel Plant. He also reviewed the progress of the “waste to wealth” initiative under the Swachh Bharat Mission. Besides these projects, the Prime Minister also reviewed various agricultural projects including drought assistance.
