Transystem issued artificial limbs and appliances to differently abled persons in Ranchi

ranchiTransystem Logistics International Limited on the concluding day of the camp at Ranchi issued more than 400 artificial limbs and appliances to differently abled persons of underprivileged communities. The function was graced by Sh. Ramchandra Chandravanshi, Hon’ble Minister of Health Medical Education & Family Welfare; Sh. Chandreshwar Prasad Singh, Hon’ble Minister of Urban Development & Housing, Transport Government of Jharkhand; Dr. Munish Chander, Head TCI Foundation and Sh. S.L. Gupta, Member, DAV College Management Committee.

The community support camp was organized by TCI Foundation Jaipur Foot & Rehabilitation Centre, Patna; with support of Transystem, under the banner of TCI Foundation from February 1-5, 2016 at DAV Nandraj Public School Briatu Ranchi.

While addressing the august gathering, Sh. Ramchandra Chandravanshi, Minister of Health Medical Education & Family Welfare said, “It’s very painful for any individual who loses his or her limbs due to genetic defect or disease or accident, but the efforts made by Transystem are commendable and infused a lifeline amongst the differently abled persons”.

Sh. Chandreshwar Prasad Singh, Minister of Urban Development & Housing applauded the efforts of Transystem and TCI Foundation to bring the differently abled persons to mainstream.

Dr. Munish Chander, Head TCI Foundation, highlighted some great success story wherein patients who have been unable to walk for more than 10 years have now been completely cured with the help of artificial limbs and appliances. He further said that a smile on the faces of benefited individuals and their families, by the joint efforts of Transystem and TCI Foundation, is worth a billion dollars.
