I had a dream to open a KISS branch in Puri exclusively for the children of poor Brahmin communities. It is now going to be fulfilled due to the support of Bhartia Charitable Trust. I thank Mr. Agarwal with gratitude, who has fulfilled my long time dream”, said Prof. Samanta after signing the MoU.

KISS-Bharatia School will be fully residential like KISS- Bhubaneswar. Children, both boys, and girls, of poor Brahmin families, will get the education with accommodation, food, and healthcare free of cost. The academic session will begin from July 2018.

KISS has purchased 15 acres of land at Puri for setting up the School. Bhartia Charitable Trust will provide full financial support for the infrastructure, assured Mr. Agarwal. The students of this school will be taught CBSE curriculum. In the first phase, there will be Class I to Class XII. The Brahmin students will be given special training on Veda, Karmakand and theology, especially on the Jagannath culture. After completing their education from this school, they can establish themselves as well trained and educated priests. There will be provision for 1200 students in the first phase enrolment. It will be expanded later. Children from poor Brahmin families from across the country can pursue the education here.
