M3M Foundation Supports India’s Largest Celebration of Change makers at The Better India Showcase 2025

New Delhi, September 22, 2025 – The Ashok Hotel witnessed an evening of inspiration, resilience, and hope as The Better India hosted its flagship event, The Better India Showcase 2025, supported by M3M Foundation. India’s largest celebration of change makers, the Showcase honoured nine extraordinary visionaries — from farmers and educators to doctors, water warriors, and innovators — whose work has transformed millions of lives across the country. The evening was more than a ceremony; it was a collective tribute to compassion, resilience, and the unshakable belief that change is possible. A special congratulatory message from the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi Jilauded the initiative, stating,“TBIShowcase strengthens the spirit of collective action, making an impact on society and the nation”.

Icons of Change, Stars of The Better India Showcase 2025 were Nine extraordinary leaders who embody the true spirit of transformation were celebrated at the Showcase. Among them were Abhishek Kumar, Mittal Patel, AmlaRuia, Dr. Ravi Kannan, Vishal Talreja, Sundaram Verma, Dr.KalpanaSankar, and Uday Bhatia—each one a visionary whose work has touched millions of lives and redefined what it means to drive meaningful change in India.

Reflecting on the evening, Dr. Payal Kanodia, Chairperson & Trustee, M3M Foundation, said “It was heartening to see nearly 50 change makers celebrated across nine categories. Each story was unique, deeply moving, and a reminder of the power of individuals to drive collective change. At the event Managing TrusteeDr. Aishwarya Mahajan, M3M Foundation announced extending Mashaal Fellowships to the extraordinary change makers of The Better India Showcase and to carefully assessing the inspiring nominations received this year. Through this, M3M Foundation reaffirms its pledge to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with grassroots change makers who are doing their part to truly build a Better India.

The evening featured an inspiring keynote address by BVR Subrahmanyam, CEO – NITI Aayog, and opening remarks by Amitabh Kant, Ex-G20 Sherpa, alongside distinguished leaders such as Debjani Ghosh (NITI Aayog Fellow), Kanta Singh (Country Head, UN Women), Nisha Narayanan (Director, Red FM), Jyoti Sharma (CEO, Nasscom Foundation), Pallavi Singh (Brand Leader, VIDA) and Shankar Venkateswaran (Ecube Investments & Former TBI Board Member).

The grand jury comprised eminent leaders including Uma Ratnam Krishnan (Optum India), Hari Menon (Gates Foundation), CVL Srinivas (WPP India), Dr. Aishwarya Mahajan (M3M Foundation), Anshu Gupta (Founder, Goonj& Magsaysay Awardee), Mandakini& Prakash Amte (Magsaysay Awardees), ShrashtantPatara (Development Alternatives), Shantanu Naidu (Tata Motors), and AnuradhaKedia (Co-founder, The Better India). Hosted with poise by Sonali Chander, the event was presented by Optum India and supported by M3M Foundation.
