New Delhi, 3rd November, 2025: Abhishek Ranjan has been elevated to Chief Marketing Officer for India and APAC region. In his previous position as Head of Brand Marketing, a role in which he successfully drove brand transformation, product campaigns, and strategic market launches since October 2022.
With over 17 years of experience, Abhishek has held pivotal roles in prominent technology companies, including TECNO Mobile India, Philips Mobiles, Celkon, Logitech, Micromax, and Samsung. He has a proven track record in developing and executing integrated brand strategies, leading creative communications, and steering multi-country teams toward impactful results in highly competitive markets.
During his time at HMD, Abhishek has been instrumental in unveiling HMD as an independent phone brand in India and APAC. He has also been an active part in powering next-gen brand campaigns, introducing differentiated product lines, and strengthening the company’s connections with Gen Z and millennial audiences with product launches including Crest and Fusion.
In his new role as CMO, Abhishek will oversee all marketing, communications, and in-market brand strategies for HMD across India and the APAC region, focusing on innovation-led growth, digital-first consumer engagement, and furthering HMD’s human-centric brand promise.
