Indic Inspirations brings to you the Era of Workshops & Events after the Pandemic. Their first workshop for the month of April is the ‘Bengal Patachitra Workshop’. Master Artisan Suman Chitrakar with his wife Rupsona Chitrakar will be coming all the way from West Bengal to Pune just to teach this Folk-Art Form.
The Bengal Patachitra is a visual and oral art tradition practiced by the Patuas or Chitrakars of West Bengal. Patachitra is known for its bold colors, lines, and strokes & the colors are naturally derived from local sources like fruits and flowers.
This workshop will be taking place at different venues and parts of Pune and also 1 session would be online on Zoom. Once you register for the workshop you will get all the necessary material (Colours, Brushes, A4 size sheet & Stationary) at the venue itself. Participants enrolling for the Zoom session will get a kit delivered at their doorstep & the zoom link will be provided 3 days prior to the workshop.
So, enroll and be a part of the art that represents the themes of Mythological Tales, Historical & Contemporary Themes, and Social Issues.
