New Delhi: ‘Take The Stage,’ a live concert showcasing the unmatched talent of Dance, Music & Singing, led by Musical Dreams (an artistic development Academy) was arguably the most marvelous event of this season. Umpteen artistes participated this year in ‘Take The Stage’ and performed on 26th July at Kamani Auditorium, Copernicus Marg, New Delhi. This year there were 18 performances in the form of solo, group, and couple, that include Contemporary, Jazz, Bollywood, Hip Hop, Kathak, etc. The major highlight of the event was the intense shadow dance choreographed by musical dreams depicting the various shades various shades of Delhi from bright to gray. The performance mesmerized the audience with the incredible display of various flavors of the city from positive to negative.
Talking about the shadow dance piece, Meeta Nagpal organizer and founder of Musical Dreams said“It takes us from early morning Delhi to the dark nights. We have tried our best to keep the love for Delhi going but also to encourage people to respect our city. This performance is straight from the eyes of Delhi itself.”She also added about entire Take The Stage – we are really excited to see the breathtaking performances of the artists and this year the level of the performances have reached one level up. It is a matter of great honor for us that TAKE THE STAGE has provided the launch pad to various artists who have got recognition and accolades globally. ‘Take The Stage’ provides an opportunity to experience and learn more about performing arts and performance stage. Musical Dreams works towards introducing various forms of Performing Arts through regular classes & workshops to make students and people presentable as an artist for various platforms as well as to spread fun & happiness around, that unites them.
