Delhi Public School R.N. Extension organised a comprehensive workshop titled ‘Implementing National Credit Framework (NCrF) in Schools’. The event gathered educators from Nursery to Class XII, aiming to introduce them to the principles and practices of NCrF.
Led by Ms. Swapna Nair, the workshop featured an in-depth exploration of NCrF’s goals, benefits and operational mechanics. The event emphasised its role in fostering a standardised credit accumulation and transfer system across educational domains. Attendees gained insights into the credit system’s support for student learning, encompassing academic, co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
Ms. Pallavi Upadhyaya, Principal, DPS RN Extension, expressed, “The primary objectives of this workshop were familiarising educators with NCrF’s significance and equipping them with the methodologies and tools essential for its successful integration into school curricula. It was a pleasure to see participants expressing their appreciation for the practical knowledge gained, which will enhance educational outcomes and student mobility. We look forward to piloting NCrF in Classes VI, IX and XI from the academic session 2024-25, underscoring our commitment to innovation in educational practices.”
