New Delhi: CLFMA OF INDIA is organizing its 65th National Symposium and 57th Annual General Meeting (AGM) to improve the livestock industry in the country. Various issues concerning the livestock sector will be discussed during this national conference. Panel members will present their perspectives on the industry at the event, which will be held at Hotel Novotel Goa Resort & Spa from 20th to 21st September. Union Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, Dairying, and Panchayati Raj, Rajiv Ranjan Singh, will be the Chief Guest.
CLFMA Chairman, Suresh Deora, shared in New Delhi that more than 400 experts, including global industry leaders, experts from the Government of India, and various stakeholders, will participate in the national event. The theme for this year’s discussions is “Sustainable Livestock Sector: Threats, Challenges, and Opportunities.” According to Chairman Deora, one of the major challenges today is the availability of animal feed, with a declining supply of raw materials. Therefore, the primary focus is on exploring alternative raw materials for feed production. Additionally, the conference aims to develop a platform based on the “farm-to-fork” approach for farmers and livestock producers.
CLFMA OF INDIA, established in 1967, is an apex organization representing animal husbandry-based agriculture in India, and it has been promoting the “One Voice” initiative for the livestock industry.
