StarManch, India’s First Karaoke App Paves the Way for Budding Singers to Make a Debut in the Music Industry

Kolkata, 15th December 2022: StarManch as promised granted the golden opportunity to the winners of the first-of-its-kind global digital competition, which was held earlier this year, to launch their solo musical albums. Srinjini Chatterjee, Anuradha Patra and Indraani Chowdhury were among few winners who voiced the iconic Rabindra Sangeet numbers- Aji Jhoro Jhoro Mukhoro Badoro Dine, Badol Meghe Madol Baaje & Chhaya Ghonaichhe respectively, made a digital release recently. Sukanta Chatterjee, Pradhumita Banerjee, Shaonlee Chatterjee, Arpita Dey, Debasree Biswas, Rikta Mukherjee and Soumi Sanyal Bhattacharya are the rest who are scheduled to get their Rabindra Sangeet album released shortly.

Earlier this year, the digital talent hunt was solely conducted to generate a fair opportunity for aspiring singers. Apart from India, contestants from the United Kingdom, the United States, and Bangladesh had also participated in the competition. Music composer Joy Sarkar, poet & lyricist Srijato, veteran singers – Srikanta Acharya and Sraboni Sen were among the esteemed juries for the contest.

On this occasion, Mr. Randeep Bhattacharya, CEO of StarManch commented, “StarManch since its inception had throughout been a talent hunt platform apart from being a karaoke app.” He also added, “It’s a pleasure to hear these budding talents sing such iconic numbers. We intend to host more such contests in the future to help the talents connect the industry.”
