Bengaluru 8th September 2025: In a resounding validation of its forward-thinking curriculum, students from the Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET) at JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) have achieved a remarkable victory on the global stage. Team HackXBot has been awarded 1st Place in the Compute3 Winners category at the prestigious Aya Hackathon 2025, Bangalore edition. The Aya Hackathon is an international series focused on the frontier of AI and blockchain technology, challenging developers to build cutting-edge tools and Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers that enable AI agents to navigate and operate within complex decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystems across multiple blockchains. Organized by Aya, the world’s first AI-powered crypto wallet, the event attracted top-tier developers and innovators from around the world.
Team HackXBot, with the talents of Luvkush Sharma, Sahan Veeresh Angadi, Yash Anand, and Ayush Kumar from JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), secured the top honor with their project, “Multi-Chain AI-Powered Crypto Manager.” This innovative tool is designed to empower users by simplifying the management of multiple cryptocurrency wallets and automating sophisticated DeFi operations through artificial intelligence. The project was lauded by judges for its robust technical execution, user-centric design, and significant potential to impact the rapidly evolving Web3 landscape. This consecutive international victory, following closely on the heels of the university’s recent national win in robotics, serves as a powerful milestone for Jain (Deemed-to-be University). It definitively demonstrates the institution’s capacity to cultivate talent capable of innovating at the highest levels of emerging technology. Competing in a hackathon with a focus on the specialized confluence of AI and blockchain underscores the students’ advanced capabilities and the effectiveness of the university’s practical, industry-aligned learning approach.
“The success of Team HackXBot at a hackathon of this caliber is extraordinary,” said Shree Ravindra Bhandary, Vice President of the university, as he celebrated the team’s achievement.
