New Delhi, September 23, 2025 – Rus Education, India’s trusted facilitator for medical education in Russia, proudly hosted Sobraniye 2025, its flagship pre-departure ceremony for Indian students embarking on their MBBS journey in Russia.
Held at the iconic Kamani Auditorium, New Delhi, the event brought together aspiring doctors, their parents, academic leaders, and distinguished guests in a grand celebration of ambition, opportunity, and cultural exchange.
Building on the success of previous editions, Sobraniye 2025 was designed to prepare students for their academic and social life in Russia while instilling confidence in parents as they bid farewell to their children.
The event was graced by distinguished guests who addressed and inspired the future doctors. Eminent personalities such as Lt. Gen. Bipin Puri (Retd), Director of Medical Services (North Zone), Apollo Group of Hospitals, Ms. Remizova Elena Sergeevna, Director, Russian House,Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Singh, Medical Director, Amrita Hospital, Faridabad, Dr. Vanita Mittal, General Manager Academics, Max Institute of Medical Excellence, Max Health Care, Ms. Elena Barman, President, Indian Association of Russian Compatriots and Mr. Rohit Mishra, Dean and Chief Academic Officer, Lincoln American University and Dr. Priyansh Jain – Medical Lecturer & Faculty for NEET-PG and FMGE were felicitated by Air Marshal (Dr.) Pawan Kapoor, who later invited them to share their insights.
Speaking during the event, Air Marshal (Dr.) Pawan Kapoor (Retd.) spoke highly of Ms. Elena Barman, President, Indian Association of Russian Compatriots, during Sobraniye 2025. He said, “While Russia is her first love, she loves India as much as she loves Russia.” This address reaffirmed the firm and ever-growing relationship between India and Russia. While motivating MBBS students for their journey ahead in Russia, Air Marshal (Dr.) Pawan Kapoor (Retd.) said, “Become independent, become good individuals, and come back as good and effective doctors.”

Sobraniye 2025 witnessed more than 300 Students proudly donned their white coats and stethoscopes, symbolizing the official beginning of their medical journey. There were various Interactive sessions with academic leaders, doctors, and alumni offered practical insights into studying and living in Russia. Rus Education bid the students a heartfelt send-off at the airport, reinforcing the family-like support system it provides throughout their journey.
