F1® Authentics, the official home of F1® memorabilia, is auctioning a genuine Toro Rosso ex-race car as part of its Austin GP Auction campaign. The STR14-04 chassis raced during the 2019 FIA Formula One World Championship season and represents one of the rarest categories of F1® collectibles: a podium-finishing race car from the hybrid era.
The STR14 was the final car to carry the Toro Rosso name and livery before the team’s transformation into AlphaTauri, making it a milestone in F1® heritage. Featuring the striking blue, silver and red scheme, with iconic sponsor branding still intact, it offers both technical and visual brilliance.
Driven by Pierre Gasly and Alex Albon, the car had a successful season, most notably Gasly’s P2 at the Brazilian Grand Prix, which marked his first career podium and Toro Rosso’s best result of the decade.
This chassis is presented in outstanding condition, retaining its authentic race-used character and complete with a range of original components. While the Honda power unit has been returned to Japan, the car remains a true representation of its time on track and is offered with a selection of accompanying items, including a different spec front nosecone and wing, team cover, spare parts and additional rims and tyres.
This is one of the only genuine, race-used, hybrid-era F1® chassis ever released for private ownership. Now live for previews on f1authentics.com, the bidding on this car will open on 7th October and will close following the United States Grand Prix, on 21st October 2025.
F1® Authentics, operated by Memento Exclusives under licence of F1®, stages several major auctions each year.
The Austin GP Auction will feature everything from signed racewear and helmets to authentic car bodywork, with headline lots such as this ex-race car giving collectors the chance to own a piece of F1® history.
