October 16 2025: In a bold move to reshape India’s experiential travel and eco-luxury hospitality segment, EBG Group has entered a strategic partnership with Tarzan, a trailblazer in adventure-driven sustainable tourism. Together, the two are set to launch Tarzan Resorts — a first-of-its-kind eco-adventure hospitality brand that blends nature, sustainability, and design innovation to create the next big wave in luxury travel.
Tarzan Resorts brings an eco-luxury resort model centered around theme-based pods, each designed to immerse guests in nature while offering unmatched comfort and aesthetic appeal. The concept fuses adventure, tranquility, and sustainability, catering to travelers who seek premium, mindful experiences across India’s most picturesque destinations — from mountain retreats to forest escapes and coastal getaways.
The resorts will feature three distinct formats designed to cater to diverse traveler preferences and investment goals. The Signature Pods will offer destination-led experiences crafted for premium travelers, combining top-tier luxury with curated adventures. The Flagship Resorts will serve as large-format nature retreats, seamlessly blending adventure, wellness, and leisure experiences. Meanwhile, the FOCO (Franchise-Owned, Company-Operated) Pods will introduce compact, scalable models tailored for investors and partners seeking sustainable and high-potential hospitality ventures.
As part of this nationwide rollout, EBG Group and Tarzan plan to set up 100 themed pods across 20 prime Indian destinations by March 2026, with each pod starting at an investment of ₹30 lakh. This expansion is projected to contribute to a revenue growth in the eco-luxury vertical for EBG Group by FY2026, with an anticipated return on investment (ROI) for strategic and franchise investors. EBG Group aims to position Tarzan Resorts as one of India’s most scalable eco-luxury hospitality ventures, targeting positive growth by the end of FY2026 through direct bookings, franchise partnerships, and experiential tourism packages.
The proposed destinations span some of India’s most picturesque and culturally rich regions. In Kerala, the focus will be on Munnar, Wayanad, and Varkala, while Karnataka will feature serene escapes in Coorg and Chikmagalur. Tamil Nadu will include the charming hill stations of Kodaikanal and Ooty, and Rajasthan will spotlight Kelwara–Kumbhalgarh and Mount Abu. In Maharashtra, key destinations will include Lonavala, Pawna, and Alibaug, whereas Uttarakhand will offer retreats in Rishikesh and Mukteshwar. Himachal Pradesh will host scenic getaways in Manali and Dharamshala, while Goa will showcase coastal experiences in Ashwem and Agonda. Expanding to the North-East, Shillong, Tawang, and Gangtok will be featured, along with Madhya Pradesh destinations like Pachmarhi and Bandhavgarh.
“With Tarzan Resorts, we’re creating India’s most exclusive eco-luxury getaways where nature meets modern comfort. Each destination is carefully chosen for its natural beauty, and every pod reflects our passion for sustainability and adventure. Together with EBG Group, our goal is to redefine how India experiences nature and deliver growth by FY2026.” said Satya V. Dantuluri, Co-founder of Tarzan.
“At EBG Group, we believe in building businesses that align innovation with sustainability. Tarzan Resorts embodies this perfectly — combining eco-friendly design, local partnerships, and scalable investment models. With Signature, Flagship, and FOCO formats, we’re not only expanding India’s hospitality footprint but also creating new opportunities for investors and communities alike” said Hari Kiran, Co-founder & COO at EBG Group.
