Sathya Sai Grama, Muddenahalli 28 October 2025 – As part of the ongoing 100-Day World Cultural Festival commemorating the centenary year of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the One World One Family (OWOF) Mission — founded by visionary humanitarian Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai, continues to spread the message of oneness. Ms Shobha Karandlaje, Union Minister of State for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Labour and Employment, Government of India inaugurated the World Culture Exhibition on 26 October 2025 at Sathya Sai Grama, Muddenahalli. Curated by Anika Mann and supported by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, and the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA), the exhibition presents an immersive journey through the shared cultural threads that unite humanity across geography, language, religion, and time.
Rooted in the Sanātana Dharma principle of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” — the world is one family, the exhibition reflects the belief that humankind is deeply connected despite barriers of race, religion, gender, and geography. The inauguration was also graced by Prof (Dr) Ramesh Chandra Gaur (Dean — Administration, IGNCA).
Designed as a walk-through narrative rather than a conventional display, the exhibition unfolds through ten experiential galleries representing universal themes dissecting into the story of humankind — Cosmic Origins, Elemental Harmony, Divine Motherhood, Sky Fathers & Hero Archetypes, Sacred Symbols, Pilgrimage Sites, Ancient Wisdom, Pillars of Culture, One World One Family, and a Regional Culture gallery curated by IGNCA showcasing South India’s artistic and cultural heritage through artefacts, archival footage, and documentaries.
Speaking at the inauguration, Ms Shobha Karandlaje, Union Minister of State for the Government of India, observed that such exhibitions are gentle yet powerful reminders that beneath visible differences, all civilisations emerge from the same human longing — to belong, to create, to seek meaning, and to live in harmony — and that cultural literacy is essential for peaceful coexistence.
Speaking about the exhibition, Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai said: “Culture is not merely what we inherit in artefacts and aesthetics, but what we live every day — through compassion, dignity, duty, and shared responsibility. True heritage is the courage to care for one another as members of a single human family.”
With its story-led rooms, interactive exhibits, IGNCA regional galleries, archival content, and documentary screenings, the World Culture Exhibition speaks to children, youth, scholars, and first-time visitors alike — not through instruction, but through experience. The exhibition will remain open to the public until 23 November 2025 at Sathya Sai Grama, Muddenahalli.
