11th November, 2025: Mumbai’s most iconic vegetarian dining destination – Cream Centre – has added another milestone moment with the grand opening of its latest outlet at Mall of Asia, Bengaluru — celebrating an extraordinary culinary legacy of 65 years and the brand’s much-awaited foray into South India.
Founded in 1958 in Mumbai, Cream Centre has long borne the torch for innovativeness and indulgence within the vegetarian dining space. It was amongst the pioneers of introducing Mumbai to Nachos, served its legendary Channa Bhature, and has delighted generations with its Sizzling Brownies, to name just a few of its eternal favourites.
At the helm of this amazing journey is Mr. Sanjiv Chona, Chairman of Cream Centre, whose vision and commitment has been responsible for transforming the restaurant into a national icon. Taking this vision forward into the future is Mr. Rishi Chona, CEO of Cream Centre, who has blended modern-day innovation with the charm of nostalgia that customers have come to expect to bring Cream Centre into fruition for another generation of diners.
On the launch, Mr. Rishi Chona commented, “Bringing Cream Centre to Bengaluru feels like sharing a piece of Mumbai’s soul in this wonderful city. We are delighted to be introducing Bengaluru to the iconic dishes which have defined Mumbai’s dining culture, from our traditional Chole Bhature and Nachos, to our new-age creations, all made from the same authentic flavours and legacy which have been adored by generations alike.”
The Mall of Asia outlet is in a newly designed contemporary feel, which shows a perfect blend of nostalgia along with modern elegance, a true celebration of tradition and innovation and of togetherness.
