KIMSHEALTH Launches Miyawaki Fruit Forest Initiative to Promote a Greener CampusThiruvananthapuram, Nov 28: In an endeavour to promote environmental sustainability, KIMSHEALTH, has launched an initiative to develop Miyawaki Fruit Forests in the hospital premises. As part of the first phase of the project, around 80 fruit saplings have been planted in a designated pocket in the hospital.

The initiative aims to transform unused spaces at KIMSHEALTH into diverse, and self-sustaining fruit-bearing green zones using the renowned Miyawaki afforestation technique. The Miyawaki Fruit Forest initiative is an important step towards nurturing nature at KIMSHEALTH. By converting unused spaces into thriving green zones, we aim to build a healthier environment for our patients, staff, and the community, said Dr. M I Sahadulla, Chairman and Managing Director, KIMSHEALTH, while launching the initiative.

KIMSHEALTH plans to continue expanding the Miyawaki Fruit Forest across its campus in subsequent phases, further strengthening its pledge to environmental protection and sustainable living.
