Bengaluru, Jan 10: Gopalan National School (North), will host a vibrant Jamboree Carnival on January 10th, from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM, at its campus located in Yelahanka. Open to the public, the day-long carnival invites families and children to come together for a celebration of fun, learning, and community bonding.
The carnival will offer a host of engaging activities including fun rides and bounces, tattoo making, a selfie corner, food stalls, and lively music and dance performances, ensuring an entertaining experience for visitors of all age groups.
One of the key highlights of the Jamboree Carnival will be the interactive sessions with eminent educationists, designed to support parents in understanding and nurturing children beyond academics. These sessions will be conducted by Dr. G. Thangadurai, Distinguished Educationist, Mentor, and Philanthropist, and Ms. Preethi Shanker, Montessori Educator & Trainer, Therapeutic Play Practitioner, and Co-Founder of I Spy Hope (ISH).
Dr. G. Thangadurai will lead a session on “Purposeful Parenting,” sharing insights on intentional parenting practices that help shape confident, values-driven individuals. Ms. Preethi Shanker’s session, titled “Beyond Marks and Medals – Helping Children Know Who They Are, Not Just What They Achieve,” will focus on nurturing self-awareness, emotional well-being, and identity in children, moving beyond conventional measures of success.
Through this initiative, Gopalan National School (North) aims to create a meaningful platform where learning extends beyond classrooms, empowering parents while offering children a joyful and memorable day.
