Feb 13: As India’s music ecosystem rapidly evolves beyond releases and charts, former Spotify India Head of Editorial Aoneha Tagore has launched Collabor8, a next-generation artist management and brand-building agency focused on building long-term, culturally relevant journeys for music artists.

Founded in late 2025, Collabor8 addresses a growing gap in the industry where music artists are increasingly influential as cultural voices, yet are still managed through short-term, transactional models. The agency partners with music artists across genres and career stages, offering a comprehensive suite of services spanning music strategy, PR, social media, content direction, brand partnerships, monetisation and positioning, collectively known as Collabor8’s Music Surround Services.
With over two decades of experience across radio, television and global streaming platforms, Aoneha has been closely involved in shaping India’s contemporary music narrative. Her career spans leadership roles at World Space Satellite Radio, Fever FM, Oye FM, Radio City, 9X Network, MTV, Vh1 and the launch of MTV Beats, before most recently leading the Editorial vertical at Spotify India.
At Collabor8, artist management is approached as long-term brand stewardship rather than moment-driven execution. The agency follows a people-first, insight-led model that prioritises narrative clarity, fandom development and sustainable growth over fleeting visibility. Collabor8 works closely with emerging, scaling and established artists, tailoring strategies to their individual journeys and ambitions.
Collabor8 has already begun working with upcoming and established artists, signalling its intent to collaborate with artists who are looking to shape their careers beyond conventional music release cycles.
Speaking about the launch, Aoneha said,
“Artists today are not just releasing music, they’re shaping culture, building communities and initiating conversations. Yet much of the ecosystem still manages them for the next release or moment. Collabor8 was created to help artists articulate their vision, how they want to be seen, heard and remembered but most importantly, build meaningful narratives around their brand identity. Our focus is on building scale, longevity and fandom for music artists, not fleeting visibility.”
As the artist economy continues to mature, Collabor8 aims to redefine how talent is supported in India building careers that are strategic, sustainable and deeply rooted in authenticity, while preparing artists for long-term relevance in an ever-evolving cultural landscape.
