Feb 17: India’s premier management institution, The Indian School of Business, has deepened its partnership with Kolkata-based Kanoria Foundation to develop next generation infrastructure leaders.
The Foundation has instituted the ‘Kanoria Foundation Scholarship’ for the post graduate programme in management for young leaders at The Indian School of Business. Through a committed outlay of ₹1.87 crore, the Foundation aims to empower high potential young leaders with access to world class management education at ISB, strengthening India’s future leadership pipeline in business and infrastructure.
The scholarship represents a five-year commitment to support 10 deserving students and will provide 100% tuition fee waivers to two PGP YL students every year beginning with the academic year commencing July 2026. Through this initiative, the Kanoria Foundation aims to expand access to high-quality management education for talented young leaders irrespective of their financial background.
The PGP YL is ISB’s early-entry management programme, designed to nurture high-potential students at an early stage of their academic and professional journeys. By removing financial barriers, the joint initiative seeks to enable deserving students to fully benefit from ISB’s globally recognised curriculum, faculty, and learning environment.
Professor Madan Pillutla, Dean, ISB, said,
“Scholarships like this are vital to ensuring that ISB continues to attract and nurture outstanding talent from diverse backgrounds, and we are grateful for the Foundation’s long-term support of our mission.”
Commenting on the initiative, Dhruv Bhalla, Global Head, Kanoria Foundation, said,
“ Through the Kanoria Foundation Scholarship, we hope to support young leaders with the ability and drive to create meaningful impact. Our association with the Indian School of Business has spanned nearly 10 years, and through this initiative we hope to jointly enable scholars by giving them an equal opportunity to receive the world-class education that ISB is known for.”
