CREDAI Convenes 7th Edition of YouthCon in Bengaluru, Bringing Together Next-Gen Industry Leaders

Bengaluru, Feb 28: The 7th edition of CREDAI YouthCon, the flagship forum of the CREDAI Youth Wing, concluded on February 28, 2026, at JW Marriott Prestige Golfshire, Bengaluru, after a two-day programme, bringing together over 500 young developers, largely second-generation industry leaders, alongside senior CREDAI leadership and key stakeholders from across India.

Over the two-day forum, a strong strategic foundation was reinforced under the overarching theme “Reimagine Possibility.” Structured around three core pillars — Reimagine Resilience, Reimagine Knowledge, and Reimagine Network — the sessions focused on strengthening institutional leadership, reinforcing governance-led growth, and enabling capital-ready expansion within India’s evolving real estate landscape.

During the forum, CREDAI also announced its Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA). The collaboration aims to foster long-term trade linkages and promote the development of world-class commercial properties across India, particularly in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. Leveraging WTCA’s presence across more than 90 countries, the partnership seeks to strengthen India’s position as a global trade hub while aligning with the Smart Cities Mission and CREDAI’s green building certification initiatives.

CREDAI has already undertaken a massive reforestation drive as part of its mission to achieve Net Zero by 2047, reflecting the sector’s long-term commitment to responsible growth.

As part of its wider sustainability initiatives, CREDAI YouthCon 2026 was consciously designed to be a carbon-neutral event. Electric vehicles (EVs) were used to facilitate transportation to the venue, the culinary experience prioritised low-carbon and locally sourced cuisine, and event branding incorporated recycled materials. The selection of a sustainability-focused venue formed an integral part of the overall event design. Residual emissions will be offset through CREDAI’s ongoing large-scale reforestation initiatives, further reinforcing the Youth Wing’s role in advancing environmentally responsible development.

The conference commenced with an inaugural session that set the tone for meaningful dialogue and sectoral foresight. The opening day brought together distinguished voices from architecture, consumer brands, infrastructure, retail, education and media.

The programme was further strengthened by a distinguished set of speakers who brought diverse perspectives to the YouthCon experience.  Kishore Biyani, Founder of Future Group and widely regarded as a pioneer of modern retail in India, offered valuable insights into consumer behaviour, entrepreneurship and the evolution of aspiration-driven markets, drawing from decades of experience in building large-scale retail formats across the country.

Bringing a contemporary business perspective, Aman Gupta, Co-founder and CMO of boAt, shared his journey of building a digital-first consumer brand, highlighting the importance of understanding evolving aspirations, brand positioning and connecting with the new-age Indian consumer.

Jeet Adani, Director, Adani Airports, highlighted the Adani Group’s growth journey and emphasized that AI will be a key driver in shaping the future of real estate, encouraging the next generation to embrace innovation and think at scale.
