Pune, May 05: India’s most thoughtfully crafted space, Windmills Craftworks, is known for curating memorable experiences by converging music, global cuisine, craft beer, and architecture. This May, the Total Environment Music Foundation will exclusively present Stanley Jordan, the four-time Grammy-nominated jazz virtuoso, alongside the dynamic and versatile drummer Kenwood Dennard, live at Windmills Craftworks, Hyderabad on May 15th, 2026, followed by Windmills Craftworks, Bangalore on May 16th and 17th, 2026.

Music lovers can expect evenings shaped by deep groove, fluid improvisation, and a compelling dialogue between two master musicians, bringing contemporary jazz to life in a setting designed for immersive listening.
Stanley Jordan has redefined the modern jazz space by pioneering the ground-breaking two-handed ‘touch technique.’ A virtuoso like no other, he transformed the grammar of jazz with this technique by simultaneously performing melody, rhythm, and harmony, earning him a worldwide reputation and fan following. His discography, along with collaborations with the likes of Dizzy Gillespie, Quincy Jones, and others, has built him a formidable legacy. Along with him, Kenwood Dennard, known for his multi-instrumental live performances, will be on drums and keyboard.
As a collaborative tour de force, Stanley and Kenwood will showcase an interplay of intricate composition and spontaneous improvisation. The performances will highlight two musicians in genuine conversation with each other and their craft. Stanley, with his melodic fluency and harmonic finesse, and Kenwood, with rhythmic fire and expansive groove, will transcend traditions while keeping the essence of jazz as a living, evolving art form.
Kamal Sagar, Founder of Windmills Craftworks, said, “At Windmills Craftworks, our commitment remains to honor music by presenting it in its most uncompromising form. Through artists like Stanley Jordan and Kenwood Dennard, that intent finds its fullest expression. Stanley is an artist who has not only mastered his instrument but reshaped the very language of it, while Kenwood brings a depth of rhythm and musicality that elevates the conversation. It is a privilege to host musicians of this calibre and to share these moments with those who truly listen.
For us, it is about creating a space where such artistry can unfold with honesty and intimacy, allowing audiences to connect more deeply with the music and with themselves.”
Stanley Jordan said,
“India always presented a varied tapestry of sound and musical brilliance. The music ecosystem is evolving rapidly, with how people listen to music, how they interact with the artists, and music’s role as a unifying force. In today’s day and age, I feel that with genres like jazz, the perception is that people aren’t listening to it. But it is actually the lack of spaces for people to really appreciate it. Happy to see that Windmills Craftworks still upholds the form with the reverence that it deserves. And always a pleasure to link up with Kenwood. I hope the audience resonates with our performance.”
Windmill Craftworks, with its music-first approach and excellent acoustics, is dedicated to curating authentic musical experiences that prioritize depth, nuance, and true listening over spectacle. With Stanley Jordan and Kenwood Dennard, both of whom have shaped the contours of modern jazz, it invites audiences into an intimate, soulful experience, one that feels increasingly rare in today’s fast-paced world.
