Fortis Healthcare Gurugram launches wellness initiative for women officers with Gurugram authorities

Gurugram, May 25: Reinforcing its commitment towards community health and women’s wellness, Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurugram in collaboration with Gurugram Police, organized a special wellness and healthcare initiative titled ‘She Protects Us, We Protect Her’, dedicated to women police personnel. The event witnessed participation from more than 100 women police personnel. The initiative aimed to recognize the relentless dedication and service of women police officers while encouraging preventive healthcare, mental well-being, and regular health screenings. The event featured expert-led wellness sessions, mental health awareness activities, and a complimentary health check-up camp specially curated for the attendees.

As part of the programme, leading doctors from Fortis Gurugram including Dr Rahul Bhargava, Principal Director and Chief Haematology, Dr Rama Joshi, Chairman-Gynae Oncology and Robotic Surgery and Dr Vedant Kabra, Principal Director-Surgical Oncology, Fortis Gurugram conducted expert sessions focusing on women’s health, preventive care, cancer awareness, lifestyle management, and overall wellness. A dedicated mental health session and interactive activities were also conducted to address stress management and emotional well-being among frontline personnel. The complimentary health check-up camp included essential preventive screenings such as Pap Smear, Mammography, SGPT, SGOT, CBC, Cholesterol, and Creatinine tests, aimed at promoting early detection and proactive healthcare among women officers.
