Rollin’ Thunder Hits the Road

CENTER POINT, Texas November 06, 2025 — Armour would like to introduce the newest member of its fleet … Rollin’ Thunder. Our customers asked, and we delivered. The addition of Rollin’ Thunder expands our capacity to handle heavier, more complex loads, giving clients the flexibility they need for today’s larger equipment.

With the arrival of Rollin’ Thunder, our 2026 Peterbilt 589 powerhouse, Armour now operates the heaviest heavy haul setup in the Kerrville area. Thunder brings 605 horsepower and 2,050 lb-ft of torque to the table and a 55-ton quad axle low boy with an 18” deck height to satisfy the needs of taller loads, allowing us to safely and confidently move heavy equipment across the Texas Hill Country.

At Armour, safety is non-negotiable. So, if you have a load weighing 70,000 pounds or more, Rollin’ Thunder can get the job done! Our team knows that it’s more than how much you haul and more about how you haul it. That’s where Armour makes the difference. Armour drivers understand that the complexity of how a piece of equipment is constructed is just as important as its weight, width, or height. Limits are never pushed and we never roll overweight. Armour knows that cutting corners puts your equipment and project at risk.
