Who and What:
The Champagne & Oyster Cycling Club of Monaco has announced zondacrypto, a leading regulated European digital currency exchange, as the main partner of its 11th Annual St Tropez to Monaco Charity Bike Ride. Taking place on the 27th of April, the Ride raises funds for the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation and My Name’5 Doddie Foundation.
The partnership will see the exchange provide financial support for the Ride and have its logo featured on the jerseys of the riders. zondacrypto users are also currently able to donate crypto to the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation via the mobile app.
On the Partnership:
“The Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation does incredible work for children in water safety, sports and education, not only in Monaco but across the globe. It also promotes ecological awareness and provides support for aspiring young mountaineers,” said zondacrypto’s Chief Executive Officer Przemysław Kral. “We have supported the Foundation for some time now and we are very proud to deepen our relationship by supporting the initiative riding for the foundation’s goals. At zondacrypto, we are also incredibly passionate about cycling – making this a perfect partnership for us. And just to prove that, I am going to participate personally in the race.”
“Although our collaboration with zondacrypto began just last year, they have proven themselves to be a trusted and valued partner who shares our core values,” said Gareth Wittstock, Secretary General of the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation. “Their dedication to supporting the local community and advancing sports across Europe is genuinely impressive.”
“zondacrypto is a great supporter of cycling in Europe and we are excited to partner with them,” said Damian Crean, Champagne & Oyster Cycling Club of Monaco. “We have been brought together by our mutual love of cycling and dedication to helping out in the local community.”
Further Details
This partnership is the next step in zondacrypto’s continued support of the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation. Since the inception of the partnership in 2024, zondacrypto has facilitated user donations to the Foundation and held a charity auction at the launch of its ZND token that raised €67,000 last October.
zondacrypto is also well known for its commitment to cycling, as the official crypto exchange sponsor for the Strade Bianche, Milano-Sanremo, Giro d’Italia and Tour de Pologne races. The exchange also sponsors cyclists Katarzyna Niewiadoma and her team mate Tiffany Cromwell, both of whom are part of the Canyon//SRAM zondacrypto team.
The partnership also reflects zondacrypto’s rapidly increasing footprint in Monaco. It is the title sponsor of the prestigious supercar event Top Marques Monaco, sponsors AS Monaco FC and AS Monaco Basket, Monaco-based racing drivers Arthur Leclerc and Valtteri Bottas as brand ambassadors, and in October last year, launched its native ZND token at the ZND Crypto Forum Gala event in Monaco.
