Keertan is a seasoned media specialist with over 25 years of experience across Marketing, Programming and Content.
He started off his career in 1995 as a Media Planner and Buyer for advertising agencies like Mindshare, Ogilvy, Euro
RSCG and Maa Bozell. He joined Star India 2002 as Vice President and has worked with various Media companies
like Star, Viacom, Fox & Disney.
Key stints at Viacom to launch Vh1 India, with Fox Networks to launch Fox Life. He then took over as the Managing Director of NGC Network India where he was instrumental in transforming the company from a single channel to a multi-channel network. Since 2015 he has been leading Fox Networks Group and later, from 2019 helming Disney South East Asia as EVP, while based in Hong Kong.
All of this combined with his experience working on multiple markets across Asia gives him an extensive understanding of the marketplace and industry. He is highly experienced in creating, launching and building brands that resonate with consumers and building loyal communities of fans.
Keertan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, Bangalore. His latest venture, Serendipity Media Technology, where he is a co-founder, was formed with the
aim of bridging the content creating gap in the media and entertainment industry. Assisted by technology and AI, Keertan is looking at revolutionizing how content creators, producers and media and entertainment platforms all interact and work together.
Apart from being a media industry veteran, Keertan is also a keen foodie, an adrenaline junkie and loves motorcycle. He helped institute and launch India Bike Week, along with 70 EMG and Harley Davidson India, which is now Asia’s biggest offline annual event for motorcycling enthusiasts.”
