Mumbai, Nov 28: Leading global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) India has announced the appointment of senior industry leader Amit Dakshini within its Business Transformation Services practice. Based in Mumbai, Mr. Dakshini will help accelerate A&M’s presence in the automotive sector by supporting OEMs, suppliers, and investors in driving end-to-end growth and transformation agendas.
A senior industry leader with over 28 years of experience, Mr. Dakshini has held leadership roles across P&L management and corporate strategy functions for Tier I automotive suppliers across India, Southeast Asia, Central Europe, North America, and Latin America. His primary areas of focus include growth and diversification strategy, domestic and global market expansion for OEMs and suppliers, product planning and technology roadmaps, engineering transformation, EBITDA transformation and business turnaround.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Dakshini led the automotive consulting practice for Arthur D. Little in India and South Asia. He has worked closely with senior industry executives of global OEMs, suppliers, and financial sponsors to define and execute strategic transformation programs across markets.
