Chandigarh, Mar 14: Renowned architect Tripat Girdhar, Founder and Principal Architect of Arete Design Studio, has been honoured with the Architect of the Year 2026 award. The recognition was conferred by CREDAI Punjab in the presence of its President S. Jagjit Singh Majha and Member of CREDAI Punjab, Mr. Deepak Garg.
The award acknowledges Tripat Girdhar’s contribution to contemporary architecture and his commitment to design excellence, innovation, and sustainable development in the built environment. The recognition also highlights the growing role of thoughtful architecture in shaping modern urban landscapes across India.
The event was organized to celebrate excellence in Real Estate by CREDAI Punjab at JW Marriott, Chandigarh on 12th and 13th March, 2026. In 2019, Ar. Tripat also has been awarded the title of ‘CREDAI Destination Punjab’ by Hon’ble Minister of Housing & Urban Development, Punjab – Sukhwinder Singh Sarkaria, for the project Address Boulevard.
