Atmantan Wellness Centre Partners with FHRAI to Champion Harit Yoga InitiativeMumbai, 23rd April 2025: Atmantan Wellness Centre, a trailblazer in India’s wellness industry, is proud to announce its collaboration with the Federation of Hotel & Restaurant Associations of India (FHRAI) for the “Harit Yoga” event. This flagship event, leading up to the International Day of Yoga (IDY) 2025, is part of the Ministry of Ayush’s celebrations marking the 10th anniversary of IDY under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

‘Harit’ Yoga meaning ‘Green Yoga’, beautifully intertwines the ancient practice of Yoga with a deep commitment to sustainability. The event champions eco-conscious practices, from the use of biodegradable yoga mats to the adoption of zero-waste principles, seamlessly integrating Yoga with activities rooted in nature. This highlights a fundamental principle of Yoga: living in balance with nature, a belief that aligns perfectly with Atmantan’s all-encompassing view of well-being.

As a key partner in Harit Yoga, Atmantan Wellness Centre led transformative activities that seamlessly integrated wellness with environmental consciousness. Among the standout events was a Signature Sahyadri Trek, tree plantation and Yoga-on-the-green activity, where over 90 people participated, enhancing a deeper connection with nature and inner peace!

This event underscored Yoga’s remarkable ability to unite individuals with their surroundings. Demonstrating its unwavering commitment to sustainability, they also organised a meaningful tree plantation drive, encouraging participants to plant saplings as a heartfelt tribute to nurturing Mother Earth.

Expressing her views on the event, Sharmilee Kapur, Founder-Director said, “Harit Yoga is such a powerful name. It means Yoga on the green. And this is exactly what Yoga stands for. It is a low-maintenance, sustainable, health initiative which has been in our country for years and centuries. Today by talking about this, we are trying to take this fantastic message to the youngsters. Yoga can be done anywhere. At Atmantan, this is exactly what we embrace when our guests come here to heal in nature along with age-old practices of Yoga. This brilliant practice of Yoga is something all the youngsters can embrace, from young ages, right up to 100 and more. What is stopping us? Heartiest congratulations on this fantastic event and more power to Yoga.”

Sharing his thoughts on this event, Nikhil Kapur, Founder-Director said, “It’s a proud day for us today that in association with FHRAI, we are participating in the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the International Yoga Day. Yoga is an integral part for all our programmes here and it is a science that helps us increase the level of awareness. With this higher level of awareness, we are able to connect with ourselves better and also able to connect with those around us, especially the environment. The environment is what helps us accelerate our healing and improves our overall well-being. The practice of Yoga helps us make conscious decisions daily and that’s something we have done while creating Atmantan. All our decisions related to design, selection of the material, the choice of technology are aligned with sustainable engineering and architecture.”

Atmantan Wellness Centre remains steadfast in its mission to champion comprehensive wellness initiatives that align with the principles of Harit Yoga. With a legacy of life transformation and a commitment to sustainability, they as always welcome global visitors to experience wellness, the Atmantan way.
