Central Bank Hindi Month Award Distribution Ceremony and All India Hindi Song Singing Competition Successfully Concluded

The Hindi Month Award Distribution Ceremony and All India Hindi Song Singing Competition were successfully organized at the Central Office of Central Bank of India, Mumbai, in a dignified and enthusiastic atmosphere. The event was graced by the presence of the Bank’s Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Kalyan Kumar, and Executive Directors Mr. M. V. Murlikrishna and Mr. Mahendra Dohare as chief guests.

The final round of the All India Hindi Song Singing Competition was also held on this occasion, in which winners from 13 zones of the Bank participated and showcased their musical talent.

In his inspiring address, Mr. Kalyan Kumar stated that “Hindi has a rich and ancient history. Over time, this language has continued to evolve and grow stronger. All members of the Bank family should make greater use of Hindi in their day-to-day work.” He further added that the competitions organized during Hindi Month not only create linguistic awareness among staff but also promote unity and positive energy within the organization.

On this occasion, the September 2025 edition of the Bank’s in-house magazine “Centralite” was also released jointly by the Managing Director & CEO Mr. Kalyan Kumar and Executive Directors Mr. M. V. Murlikrishna and Mr. Mahendra Dohare. In the All India Hindi Song Singing Competition, Uttara R. Krishnan from the Chennai Zone secured the first position, Manish Purohit from the Delhi Zone secured the second position, and Aadhya Sharma from the Lucknow Zone secured the third position.

Winners of various Hindi Month competitions were felicitated by the Hon’ble MD & CEO   Mr. Kalyan Kumar.

The welcome address was delivered by Ms. Poppy Sharma, Chief General Manager, and the vote of thanks was proposed by Mr. Vasti Venkatesh, General Manager.
