Clean-Tech Startup Atovio Donates 50 Wearable Air Purifiers to Gurgaon Traffic Police under ‘Protecting Those Who Protect Us’ Initiative Gurgaon, November 14, 2025: In a gesture that combined innovation with social responsibility, Atovio, an Indian startup pioneering wearable air purification technology, hosted a Clean-Air Awareness and Donation Drive with Gurgaon Traffic Police at SGT University, Gurgaon, under the theme “Protecting Those Who Protect Us.”

As part of the initiative, Atovio donated wearable air purifiers to 50 Gurgaon Traffic Police officials, recognising their service and daily exposure to challenging outdoor environments.The effort also aimed to highlight how technology-driven solutions can support urban health and safety in increasingly polluted cities.

The event was graced by Chief Guest Dr Rajesh Mohan, DCP Traffic, Guest of Honour Nobal Preet Singh, Strategic Partner- Google Maps, and Rajeev Saraf, CEO- Lepton Software, and was organised in collaboration with Suman Roy, Founder of ThereFor Trust.

Addressing the gathering, DCP Dr Rajesh Mohan spoke about the importance of Road Safety and Public Responsibility, and appreciated Atovio’s initiative for extending support to traffic police who serve the city in every condition.

Anmay Sahlot, Founder of Atovio, spoke about the growing importance of personal air purification as Indian cities continue to grapple with deteriorating air quality. He explained that Atovio’s wearable purifier, the Pebble, uses Advanced Anion Technology to reduce fine particles and allergens in the immediate breathing zone. Tested at IIT Kanpur and manufactured in Haryana, the device reflects India’s growing capacity for practical, science-driven clean-tech innovation designed for real urban conditions.

Beyond technology, the initiative became a moment of recognition, honouring those who stand in the thick of traffic and smog to keep the city moving. It served as a reminder that clean air is not just an environmental goal, but a shared responsibility that begins with protecting those who protect us.
