Recalling a pivotal moment from the Aashram shoot, Chandan Roy Sanyal shares, “One of the most intense scenes in the series is the high-stakes face-off between Baba and Bhopa— a confrontation that truly defines their dynamics. That day on set, an unexpected altercation broke out, momentarily bringing the shoot to a halt. Despite the chaos, Director Prakash Jha stood firm in his vision. We resumed filming late into the night, pushing through exhaustion to deliver a scene that remains one of the most powerful in the series. Looking back, it stands as a testament to the spirit of filmmaking— no matter what, the show must go on. “
Reflecting on Bhopa’s journey, he adds, “Even, I don’t know what fate has in store for Bhopa. As an actor, I bring to life what’s written, but the true journey belongs to the writer’s imagination. Like the audience, I am eager awaiting the next chapter— his trials, his transformations, and the destiny that awaits him”.
