DroneAcharya Aerial Innovations Limited Signs an Exclusive MoU with Galgotias University to Set Up DGCA-Approved RPTO and Drone Lab on Campus

Pune, 31st July 2025: DroneAcharya Aerial Innovations Limited has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Galgotias University to establish a DGCA-approved Remote Pilot Training Organization (RPTO), Drone Labs, and a future UAVs research and development (R&D) on campus. The initiative will facilitate certified drone pilot training, faculty development, student upskilling, and collaborative research & development in UAVs and geospatial technology.

DroneAcharya Aerial Innovations Limited is proud to announce a landmark collaboration with Galgotias University through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to set up a DGCA-approved Remote Pilot Training Organization (RPTO), a Drone Lab, and a future UAV research and development (R&D) on the university campus.

Under this exclusive strategic partnership, DroneAcharya will provide technical and operational expertise to help Galgotias University deliver UAv industry-relevant research, education, and skill-based training. The RPTO will be established in compliance with guidelines issued by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and will offer certified drone pilot training programs, including DGCA-approved Remote Pilot Certificate (RPC) courses, GIS and Drone Data Processing, Drone Building, Drones in Agriculture, Drones in Disaster Management, Drones in Aerial Cinematography, Python for GIS, and Drone Racing.

The MoU also paves the way for setting up a functional Drone Lab within the campus, with hands-on support from DroneAcharya for equipment and curriculum integration. These initiatives aim to foster innovation, increase employability, and provide students and professionals with practical exposure to cutting-edge drone technology.
