Kozhikode: As part of the ‘Sanjeevani’ initiative by the CSR arm of Federal Bank, the Federal Bank Hormis Memorial Foundation has announced a financial assistance of ₹1 crore towards the treatment support and social welfare activities at MVR Cancer Centre and Research Institute, operated under the CARE Foundation.
The official MoU handover ceremony was held today at the Calicut Press Club. The MoU was handed over by Mr. Sutheesh A, Zonal Head and Senior Vice President of Federal Bank, Kozhikode, to Dr. N. K. Muhammed Basheer, Chief Executive Officer of CARE Foundation.
“Cancer is a devastating illness that places immense mental and financial strain on individuals and families. Through our CSR project ‘Sanjeevani’, we aim to not only raise awareness but also ensure timely financial support for those affected. We are proud to collaborate with MVR Cancer Centre & Research Institute, which has become a beacon of hope for cancer patients in the Malabar region,” said Mr. Sutheesh A.
Representatives of CARE Foundation expressed their gratitude, stating that the partnership with Federal Bank will bring much-needed relief to many cancer patients.
‘Sanjeevani’ is a CSR initiative that combines cancer awareness and financial aid for patients. The funds will be used to cover expenses related to diagnosis and treatment for those undergoing cancer care.
