FORE School of Management Hosts ATAL FDP on Sustainable and Smart Agribusiness: Merging Green Practices with Digital Innovation

FORE School of Management, New Delhi, organized the ATAL Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Sustainable and Smart Agribusiness: Merging Green Practices with Digital Innovation” from October 6-11, 2025.

The week-long programme brought together faculty members, research scholars, and industry professionals from diverse domains including agriculture, agribusiness, and management. The sessions, conducted in offline mode, were designed to equip participants with knowledge and skills in sustainable agricultural practices, agri-tech innovations, and digital transformation in the agribusiness ecosystem.

The FDP comprised 10 sessions led by distinguished academicians and industry experts, focusing on themes such as sustainable value chains, green business models, digital technologies in agriculture, and emerging opportunities for agri-entrepreneurs. Participants were also provided with curated case studies and research articles to deepen their understanding.

Reflecting on the programme, Prof. Sriparna Basu, Professor of Communication and Programme Coordinator, said, “The FDP was designed to bridge the gap between sustainability and technology in the agribusiness ecosystem. Through this programme, we aimed to equip participants with the knowledge and tools to drive innovation while ensuring environmental responsibility. The engaging discussions and diverse perspectives shared by experts and participants alike truly reflected the collaborative spirit needed to shape the future of sustainable agribusiness.”

With active discussions, interactive sessions, and knowledge-sharing, the programme created a strong platform for advancing the dialogue on sustainable and technology-driven agribusiness. On successful completion, participants received certification from AICTE ATAL Academy.

The programme was coordinated by Prof. Sriparna Basu, with Prof. Tavishi Tewary and Prof. Sher Jahan Khan as Co-Coordinators.
