From Business to Service: The Inspiring Life Journey of Social Worker Dr. Gyashi Ram Gupta (Dr. G.R. Gupta)

Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, 11 March 2026, Dr. Gyashi Ram Gupta (Dr. G.R. Gupta) has today become an inspiring personality known for his deep commitment to spirituality, social service, and the promotion of Indian cultural traditions. For many years, he has actively contributed to religious, cultural, and humanitarian activities, inspiring people to move towards a more spiritual and service-oriented life. Dr. Gupta was born on 21 April 1956 in a middle-class family. From an early age, he developed a deep inclination toward spirituality, nature, and the teachings of saints. These early influences played a significant role in shaping his life’s direction toward service and devotion. He completed his Post-Graduation and remained actively involved in leadership and student activities during his college years. In 1977, he served as the Vice President of RR College, Alwar, where he demonstrated strong leadership qualities and active participation in student affairs . In 2009, he made a life-changing decision to step away from business and dedicate himself entirely to religious and social service. Since then, he has been continuously working toward social welfare and spiritual awareness. Spiritual Pilgrimages Across India Dr. Gyashi Ram Gupta’s spiritual journey is marked by numerous pilgrimages across India. His travels to sacred places have strengthened his devotion to Sanatan Dharma and Indian traditions. He has completed pilgrimages to all 12 Jyotirlingas of India, visited the Char Dham (Badrinath, Dwarka, Jagannath Puri, and Rameswaram), and undertaken the sacred Uttarakhand Char Dham Yatra (Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri, and Yamunotri). He has also completed the revered Amarnath Yatra. In addition to this, he has visited 38 Shakti Peeths across India and many other historic temples and pilgrimage centers. One of the most significant spiritual experiences of his life was completing the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra, which is considered one of the most challenging and sacred pilgrimages in the world. 

Promoting Indian Culture Internationally
Dr. Gyashi Ram Gupta (Dr. G.R. Gupta) has also played a role in spreading Indian culture and spiritual teachings beyond India. Through Giriraj Seva Trust, he participated in a 13-day Bhagwat Katha Cruise Yatra abroad. Apart from this, he has traveled to around 21 countries through Bhagwat Katha and Ram Katha programs, spreading the message of Sanatan Dharma and Indian cultural values across the globe.
