Hyderabad 18th April, 2024: Gemini Edibles & Fats India Ltd has once again demonstrated its commitment to community welfare by announcing a significant contribution towards the modernization of The Akshaya Patra Foundation’s Narsingi Kitchen, along with the sponsorship of three electric vehicles (EVs). The total investment in these initiatives amounts to Rs 2 Crores. This strategic renovation will enhance the kitchen’s capabilities, increasing its capacity from serving 37,000 beneficiaries to 50,000 beneficiaries daily. The addition of EV vehicles is a step towards sustainable development, aligning with the Foundation’s commitment to environmental stewardship.
The event detailing this collaboration was graced by Shri Satya Gaura Chandra Dasa, Unit President and Trustee of Akshaya Patra, alongside Mr. P Chandra Shekhara Reddy, Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Gemini Edibles and Fats India Ltd and other dignitaries.
