Mumbai, Dec 03rd: Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality company, today announced the signing of a Ginger hotel in Shillong, marking the brand’s debut in Meghalaya. This is a greenfield project.

We are delighted to partner with Mr. Khongsngi for this project.”
The 90-key Ginger Shillong will feature the brand’s signature all day dining restaurant Qmin, a stylish bar, a meeting room and a fitness centre, catering to both business and leisure travelers.
Mr. Khongsngi said, “We are happy to partner with IHCL to bring the Ginger brand to Shillong and contribute to the city’s growing hospitality landscape.”
Known as the Scotland of the East, Shillong brings together colonial charm with the vibrant Khasi culture. Renowned for its rolling hills and temperate climate, the city is home to the Shillong Cherry Blossom Festival and attractions such as Umiam Lake and Elephant Falls.
With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have 3 hotels in Meghalaya, including 1 under development.
