One of the key highlights at the booth was Free Slim, redefining flap fittings with its exceptionally slim 8 mm installation width and minimal presence. It can be classically screwed onto the inside of the side wall for extremely slim space usage or flush-mounted from the outside into the side wall for virtually invisible fitting technology. Powered by Häfele’s patented U spring technology, it enables attractive flap applications across all living areas with smooth, effortless movement.
Another significant highlight was Häfele’s patented Universal Connector (UC 16/64), designed to simplify furniture production while expanding design possibilities. This multifunctional connector enables multiple furniture-building combinations — from corner joints and angle applications to panel mounting and bracket connections — using a single, intelligent system. Optimised for efficient, tool-free processing and aligned with manufacturing standards, the UC supports process-safe and flexible production while maintaining clean, unobtrusive aesthetics.
The showcase also marked the introduction of Silestone® by Cosentino to the Indian market. As a pioneering low-silica surface, Silestone represents a new generation of responsibly engineered surfaces that combine enhanced safety standards with superior durability and refined aesthetics. The unveiling generated strong interest among design professionals seeking innovative and sustainable surface solutions.
The Kallisto Series of Cooker Hoods and Hobs attracted strong attention from visitors for its distinctive Shadowstone finish and thoughtfully integrated design. The cooker hoods impressed with gesture control and efficient smoke extraction, while the hobs stood out for precise flame control and built-in safety features. Together, the products delivered a seamless blend of refined aesthetics and dependable everyday performance.
Beyond products, Häfele’s Service+Customised offering reinforces the brand’s commitment to delivering tailored solutions backed by precision and reliability. As part of this initiative, Häfele now produces bespoke aluminium profiled cabinet fronts at its own dedicated set-up in Mumbai. Made by Häfele and made for India, these customised aluminium fronts are pre-assembled and pre-drilled for quick and efficient installation, ensuring consistent quality and seamless integration into kitchens, wardrobes and furniture applications. By bringing this capability in-house, Häfele enables greater design flexibility, improved lead times and enhanced value creation for its channel partners. This development marks a significant step forward and is poised to be a game-changer for the woodworking industry as well as for its channel ecosystem.
