India, October 24th, 2025: In a unique blend of culture and computation, hirist.tech, the leading recruitment platform for premium tech professionals, unveiled a novel festive experience over the Diwali weekend, that transformed a complex Python script into a traditional Indian Rangoli design. The initiative, dubbed ‘Run-Time Rangoli,’ aimed to celebrate the festive season by showcasing the inherent connection between algorithmic thinking and creative expression.
The campaign’s centerpiece was a large-scale Rangoli installed at a WeWork location in Bengaluru, a hub for the city’s tech community. Unlike traditional designs created freehand, this intricate geometric pattern was first generated entirely by a short block of Python code utilizing libraries like matplotlib. The code, which was visibly printed on the final installation, served as the blueprint for the Rangoli, which was then completed on-site by artists using colored powders.
The core objective of the ‘Run-Time Rangoli’ was to resonate with a primary audience of mid-to-senior level tech professionals. By literally turning a software program into a piece of public art, hirist.tech demonstrated a deep understanding of the tech mindset—one that values structure, logic, and elegant design. Onlookers were invited to see that the same logic driving their daily work can be a source of profound beauty and cultural celebration.
Shail Gaurav, EVP & Head of Marketing (Recruitment Platforms), Infoedge India Ltd said, “At hirist.tech, we’re constantly looking for ways to speak to tech professionals in the language they love – logic, creativity, and code. Run-Time Rangoli was our way of turning that mindset into art. We wanted to show that structured thinking can be deeply beautiful and that logic itself can be a form of celebration.”
The on-ground activation was supported by a digital campaign, including a short film detailing the journey from code to art, alongside social media amplification across platforms like LinkedIn and X (Twitter). The activation has been praised within the industry for its cerebral and non-commercial approach to festive brand storytelling, positioning the brand not just as a job platform, but as a facilitator for a culture that appreciates the art found in algorithms.
