Mumbai, September 02, 2025: Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) reported total sales of 5,34,861 units in August 2025. This includes 4,81,021 units in domestic sales and 53,840 units in exports.
HMSI also registered a 4% month-on-month (MoM) growth in total sales compared to July 2025.
For the Year-to-Date (YTD) period of FY26 (April–August 2025), HMSI recorded total sales of 24,22,880 units, comprising 21,73,834 units sold domestically and 2,49,046 units exported.

Road Safety Initiatives:
HMSI continued its commitment to road safety by organizing awareness campaigns across 12 cities nationwide — Bhiwadi, Prayagraj, Nayagarh, Budaun, Akola, Warangal, Nandurbar, Bangalore, Trichy, Gandhinagar, Jodhpur, and Bhatinda. These campaigns focused on sensitizing youth to responsible road behavior and safe riding practices.
Further reinforcing these efforts, HMSI celebrated the 6th anniversary of its Safety Driving Education Centre (SDEC) in Ranchi, promoting awareness and equipping individuals with the knowledge to make responsible choices on the road.
Product Launches and Expansion:
Following the national launch of the all-new CB125 Hornet and Shine 100 DX, HMSI began regional launches and mass deliveries across Ludhiana, Nashik, Noida, Pune, Chennai, Jodhpur, Mysore, Dhanbad, Muzaffarpur, Lucknow, and Jaipur — achieving a strong customer response.
Additionally, HMSI expanded its premium BigWing network with the inauguration of new outlets in Gurugram, Bengaluru, and Chennai.
Motorsports Update:
August saw Honda’s participation in the MotoGP rounds in Austria and Hungary. Meanwhile, IDEMITSU Honda Racing India Riders — Kavin Quintal and Johann Reeves — carried forward their performance in Round 4 of the 2025 FIM Asia Road Racing Championship in Indonesia.
Further, Round 2 of the 2025 IDEMITSU Honda India Talent Cup CB300F was held in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, showcasing emerging racing talent.
