Gurugram, April 23, 2025: In celebration of Earth Day, Blooming Yards and Lions Public School collaborated to organize Dhara Mahotsav 2025, a meaningful plantation campaign aimed at fostering the growth of both young minds and green spaces on the school campus.
The school premises buzzed with excitement and purpose as students, teachers, parents, and community members gathered to plant a rich variety of fruit-bearing and native plants. The drive featured saplings of mango, orange, chiku, jamun, pear, guava, pomegranate, lemon, and the flowering flame vine—each one donated by generous individuals eager to contribute to a greener tomorrow. These plants were brought and planted by the Blooming Yards team, with the full involvement of the school administration.
A particularly touching aspect of the event was the participation of students who brought plants from their own homes, proudly contributing to the greening of their school. Dressed in handmade green crowns, the children immersed themselves in the experience, symbolizing their role as young guardians of the planet. The enthusiasm and curiosity they displayed made the event not only educational but also deeply inspiring. Dhara Mahotsav became a heartfelt pledge to the Earth as more saplings were planted.
Seeing our students so connected to nature was truly inspiring, and this wonderful initiative, ‘Dhara Mahotsav,’ provided them with a practical lesson in sustainability,” said Principal Ms. Dipinder Kaur of Lions Public School.
“The greatest reward was witnessing the delight on children’s faces as they planted saplings,” said Ajay Poonia, Founder of Blooming Yards. “With every plant, we aim to nurture not just the Earth, but also young minds and their connection to it. This experience has deeply inspired us, and we are committed to launching many more such initiatives in the future to continue spreading green joy and awareness.”
