Mercom India Awards 2025 Recognises Companies That Meaningfully Contributed to Advancing Clean Energy in India

Winners were announced under 13 categories at the Mercom India Renewables Summit and focused on innovation, overcoming challenges, and proven leadership across India’s renewables industry.

 

NEW DELHI – July 29, 2025 – The Mercom India Awards 2025 announced its annual winners across 13 categories, recognizing the exceptional work of organizations that contributed to India’s clean energy industry and helped drive the country forward in its energy transition.

The ceremony was held on July 24 during the fifth edition of the Mercom India Renewables Summit 2025. It focused on each winner’s uniqueness, challenges, and complexities, as well as their economic, environmental, and social impact. An independent panel of Mercom experts selected the winners from nearly a hundred nominations after a rigorous vetting process.  The awards ceremony was presided over by India’s Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy Pralhad Joshi, and Mercom Capital Group CEO Raj Prabhu.The awards are designed to recognize the remarkable achievements of organizations and individuals who have accelerated India’s energy transition goals and fostered local economies through innovation, leadership, and the advancement of renewable energy across the country.

“This year’s winners demonstrated outstanding leadership, innovation, and execution in their fields, clearly setting themselves apart from their peers,” commented Prabhu. “Their contributions are not just commendable; they are essential to propelling India’s clean energy sector forward.”

  • Best Residential Project: Comorin Solar
  • Best Off-grid Project: OMC Power
  • Best Hybrid Project: AMPIN Energy Transition
  • Best Energy Storage Project: Newen Systems
  • Best Wind Project: Adani Green Energy
  • Best Innovation – Product: Jio Platforms
  • Deal of the Year (Financial): Waaree Energies and Premier Energies
  • Deal of the Year (Strategic): JSW Energy
